What should really be included in this template? I've tried to stick close to things that are mostly created and controlled by the author, so I've left out such things as producer on Murder She Wrote, story editor on Captain Power, writer for ASM, etc. I did include the Murder She Wrote movie however, since the teleplay was entirely by the author. In the case of the television series and comics, I've included only those that were created by the author.

Should the template include other comics such as The Twelve? Or the writing stints on The Fantastic Four etc.? Also, should the template include short stories as opposed to anthologies only? Should it include television series worked on but not created by the author? I was trying to think to keep it short so that a good glimpse into the most prominent work of the author is displayed. I don't really see a standard for templates for authors, comic book writers, or television producers, and I checked the templates for J. R. R. Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, David E. Kelley, Stan Lee, Joss Whedon, and C. S. Lewis (I have no idea why I picked this random bunch) and they all seem to go on their own paths, so discuss here what should really be in this template! What can't really be here are non-linked entries - this is a navbox and is there for navigation, it is also making the template larger than it needs to be. Some kind of bibliography would be the best place to deal with this (feel free to split the contents off from his main article into its own sub-article - that would have the advantage of keeping the listy material in one page and save the main one for prose). You can then link that in here too. See for example {{Warren Ellis}} or {{Grant Morrison}}. (Emperor (talk) 21:59, 27 June 2010 (UTC))

Yes much better - as I say it can't work as a bibliography as it is a navbox and if there are elements that don't have working links then they can't be included. It might be we can keep the removed parts and use them as part of a bibliography. I've started a discussion here: Talk:J. Michael Straczynski/Archive 1#Bibliography?. Added the comics more or less created by Straczynski (The Twelve, Supreme Power, etc.) but am thinking that perhaps the major "arcs" written by him should go in the template as well (i.e. Amazing Spider-Man #471 - #545). Any comments? JoeD80 (talk) 16:41, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
