Is there a reason why the color of this template was changed in this edit, without any discussion here first? That's not a good manner of editing. Badagnani 09:14, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Very often I find that the fancy styling and nonstandard colors used by navigational templates are there simply for decorative purposes, which reduces consistency across Wikipedia without any benefit. So when I come across a small group that I can switch to the default standard styling in one fell swoop and there's no obvious meaning to the colors I just go ahead and do that.
